Ward off the winter chills with an intensive and energetic weekend workshop for Iyengar Yoga students wanting to explore postures in-depth. There will be an emphasis on achieving 'flow' through action and restraint.

Sunday: 8:00am – 10:00am & 12:30pm – 3.00pm

Suitable for those with at least 12 months regular practice: students should be reasonably confident in shoulderstand (sarvangasana) and either be doing headstand (sirsasana) or be familier with headstand preparations or suitable alternatives (contact Johnny if you are unsure). The workshop will include Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (breath work) and restorative asanas.
As well as the three sessions above, participants are encouraged to attend the 7:30am, Saturday morning led-practice on June 29 ($10-: proceeds contribute to the upkeep of the Moore Street Yoga Room). Led by Johnny, this practice will complement and lay the foundations for the themes explored during the workshop.
