Starting in 2015: Introduction to Yoga

There’s one thing the German soccer team and Madonna have in a common – yoga! You probably wont meet many celebrities at the Moore Street Yoga Room. But in Karla Sperling’s new class, Introduction to Yoga, you will find a welcoming, supportive environment to begin your own yoga journey.

After decades learning other styles, Karla started her encounter with Iyengar yoga in 2002 at Moore Street. By attending regular classes, yoga changed her life! Now, she will introduce students to this popular practice, in a class starting on Thursday 29th January (from 10 – 11.30am).

No experience is necessary. This will be a gentle and relaxing class, suitable for beginners, people of all ages and levels of fitness. At the reasonable cost of $80.00 for a 10 week term.

The great classical violinist Yehudi Menhuin said that the best violin teacher he ever had was his yoga teacher, BKS Iyengar.  “This is your chance to find out why so many people, including famous musicians and sports people, learn yoga.
