Please do bring your own mat to class. Other studio equipment is available to use.

Class numbers are limited so we can keep comfortably spread out. Please confirm class and booking details with your teacher - contact details can be found on the timetable and teachers' page.

New Ashtanga class with Alyson Johnson from September 1, 2020

Primary Series Ashtanga Yoga Led Class

Tuesdays 10am - 11:30am from September 1

Alyson has been dedicated to Ashtanga Yoga for over a decade and uses it as the foundation of her teaching practice. While students learn a sequence of postures and transitions known as the Primary Series, the method is customised as required to be more accessible to a range of needs. Students are encouraged to make informed decisions based on their unique circumstances.

The postures in the sequence evolve slowly over time and allow students to choose the depth and intensity of their experience depending how they feel on the day. The repetition of the foundation forms and concepts creates an intimacy with the sequence allowing deeper understanding of the postures and encouraging students to practice independently at home between classes.

Please see the Teachers' page to find Alysons contact details and to book.

Bushfire Recovery for Wildlife and Humans, Sunday January 19, 2020

The enormity of these fires, and what they mean, can feel over-whelming. Yet right now our communities are pulling together to help one another in so many wonderful ways. Anastasia Yatras and Jenni Dall are inspired to share with you some processes that they have found helpful in processing the big feelings like grief, fear, despair, that can get in the way of working toward the world we want to be living in.
